High School Senior Casting Call

 2015 SENIORS!

How would you like to be a Foster Fotography spokesmodel for the class of 2015!  Our senior model program is a way for seniors to have a fabulous FREE senior portrait session with additional discounts on prints and products, just by helping us get more clients through referrals.

For each person you refer that books and completes a session with us, you will receive additional discounts and credits towards your print order.  The more you refer the more you receive!

WHAT YOU GET:

• A Free studio + on-location senior session
• Hair and Makeup Styling by our professional stylist 
• Watermarked web images to use on Facebook and Instagram so you can show your pics off to friends and family
• 50 rep cards with photos from your session to hand out to your friends and family
• 10% off your print and product order
• Opportunity to earn additional discounts on prints and products
• and of course a fun experience and the chance to feel like a model and work it in front of the camera and possibly video camera for our promo video shoot

REQUIREMENTS:

• must be a student graduating in 2015

• must be active and involved in your school and community

• have an outgoing personality, fun style, and most importantly

• must be willing to spread the word about Foster Fotography to your friends and family.                                             

ANY session booked and completed from your referral – whether its a baby, family, or another senior session – will count towards your rewards, so tell everyone you know about your session and of course SHOW them your photos!  You and your parents will have to sign a model release form, which entitles us, Foster Fotography, to use your images and possible video footage for advertising purposes. (Note: You are not eligible if you are already a rep or model for another studio)

Katie + Dan = Engaged

Katie & Dan have the cutest little mannerisms and being around them for no more than an hour I quickly picked up on them. I would notice the way he'd put his arm around her or the way she'd reach for his hand and then I'd tell them "stop right there, don't move" or "do that again." They were total naturals in front of the camera and as a result their love took center stage for this long awaited engagement shoot.  Although Katie is from Shadyside OH her and Dan are both in school and living away so getting our schedules to line up was a challenge, not to mention the fact that at the time of this photo shoot I was 37 weeks pregnant, take into account mother nature, who rained us out on attempt #1, this photo shoot almost didn't happen.  Thankfully on day 2 of our reschedule we were given a pretty sweet day for an engagement shoot and the rain even gave us a few cool puddles to add to our creativity.  I had a wonderful time shooting Katie and Dan and am looking forward to their 2014 Wedding!

Mary + Andy = Engaged

Mary & Andy were such a fun couple to photograph.  We spent one evening shooting their engagement photos, just before sunset, on Wheeling Island where they live.  They are truly comfortable wearing their love on their sleeves, which made capturing the genuine connection that this fun loving pair shares an easy task.  From their raw emotion to their pure silliness, Mary and Andy were a true joy to photograph.  I can't believe I have to wait almost a year to photograph them again at their wedding.

 

Ice Cream Social Baby Shower

The Foster Fotography Studio was transformed into an array of pastel colored bows and linens over the weekend for an intimate gathering of family and friends to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby Ryder Jaxon Sambuco during an ice cream social themed event.  

The table linens, chair covers, and sashes came from Chairital Bliss, a renter of fine fabrics for any of life's memorable events, owned by Abby Bunch.  

The other table details were the brain child of the event planning crew, Carly Givens, Cathy Givens, and Dawna Foster.

The red cooler came from my Aunt Cathy Givens and proved to be a nice vintage detail for holding the vintage glass Pepsi and Mt. Dew bottles and water.

The ingenuity of the Givens never ceases to amaze me.  This old fashioned ice cream stand set up was created from scratch and can be credited to the event planners, Carly and Cathy Givens.

As you can see not even the smallest detail was overlooked when planning the ice cream bar.  

What ice cream bar would be complete without the good stuff to top it all off?  Our toppings included fruit, candy, crushed cookies, sprinkles, nuts, fudge and even gummy bears!

For the centerpieces we used glass sundae cups with 5 scoops of carnations in green, yellow, and white, and completed the look with a striped paper straw.

For favors, each guest's seat had 1 ice cream cone with a thank you tag and a one scoop of a shower loofa in a wide variety of colors.

Staying true to the vintage ice cream social theme our menu consisted of hotdogs served up in a vintage hotdog machine and other picnic foods. 

Perhaps the most challenging detail were the fabric ice cream cones that hung in the windows.  The event planners really put in the work creating those little guys.  What was perceived to be an easy task proved to be the greatest decorating challenge but one that was worth it.
