Philipsburg, MT
A drive up to Philipsburg is like stepping back in time. Once a booming mining town in the late 1800's this historic town is full of beautifully restored buildings from that era. Erica and I spent our Sunday afternoon perusing the friendly shops and other enjoyable establishments on Main Street.
The Antique Store
We could have easily spent our entire day riffling through the great
items this store had to offer.
Each room had it's own unique theme. Above you can see the
jam-packed kitchen themed items, but they also had a vintage clothing room,
religion themed room, wild west room, and more. Very Cool!
The Candy Store
Treat your taste buds! As you take a walk on Main Street the aroma of freshly made candies is sure to arouse your senses. I guarantee you will be drawn in to the Sweet Palace where you will find 1027 different varieties of candy from all over the world. Once inside you'll know immediately that you've never seen anything quite like it before. The elegance of the Victorian décor will take you back to another century and the beauty of the place is every bit as intriguing as the homemade fudge, homemade taffy, and huge candy selection.
No trip to Philipsburg is complete without a stop at the Sweet Palace!!
